The Facts:
Eagles coach Andy Reid confirmed that wideout Jeremy Maclin sustained another hip pointer in Sunday's come from behind win over the Baltimore Ravens. His status is day-to-day, although Reid say he would likely miss practice on Wednesday and he didn't rule Maclin out for Week 3 at Arizona. Maclin told reporters that this injury was more serious than the original. Rookie Damaris Johnson and Mardy Gilyard are the only healthy receivers on the active roster. Reid said Damaris Johnson would start opposite DeSean Jackson is Maclin can't go.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Maclin's only catch in Week 2 was a 23-yarder for a touchdown, which saved the day for fantasy owners that put him in the lineup despite the fact that he was banged up. Kudos for Maclin for toughing it out and playing through the injury, but it sounds like he might be better off sitting out this weekend and allowing the hip to heal. While it's not the news that fantasy owners want to hear, the sooner we know what Maclin's status is, the faster we can look for another option. Damaris Johnson wouldn't be a recommended start, No. 3 Jason Avant aggravated a wrist bruise and Riley Cooper is still recovering from a broken collarbone.
