The Facts:
While there were no indications that Carolina running back Jonathan Stewart aggravated his ankle injury last Sunday against the Saints, he was held out of practice on Tuesday, Panthers coach Ron Rivera said he is concerned about Stewart's availability on a short week. He also told reporters that Stewart's status for Week 3 versus the Giants may not be known until Thursday morning.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Bummer! Stewart made his regular season debut in Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints. He carried the ball 11 times for 51 yards and also caught a 17-yard pass for a touchdown. Missing a practice early in the week typically isn't a big deal, but the short week isn't working in his favor. Stewart could be a game-time decision, so fantasy owners may want to look at other potential flex options in Week 3.
