The Facts:
Arizona Cardinals running back Chris "Beanie" Wells left Sunday's game with a toe injury. Yards were hard to come by for Wells, who rushed for 18 yards on eight carries. Wells told reporters after the game that he thinks he may have turf toe. He will undergo further evaluation on Monday.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Wells isn't a doctor so we'll wait until there is an official diagnosis of the toe injury that knocked him out of Sunday's game against the Eagles. Turf toe injuries can linger--Mark Ingram had a nasty case in 2011--which doesn't bode well for Wells' prospects for hanging on to his role as Arizona's primary back. Ryan Williams didn't do much prior to Wells' exit, but he took full advantage of the extra playing time as the Cardinals used the ground game to run down the clock. He finished the day with 13 carries for 83 yards and one reception for 12 yards. After poor performances in the first two games of the season, Williams was a popular drop in many fantasy leagues heading into Week 3. Expect Williams to be a popular waiver wire pickup in Week 4 regardless of Wells' status.
