The Facts:
An Oakland Raiders spokesperson said wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey is in stable condition at a local hospital where he will be kept overnight for observation. Heyward-Bey sustained a concussion in the early fourth quarter as he tried to catch a Carson Palmer pass. Steelers safety Ryan Mundy's helmet caught Heyward-Bey on the chin, knocking him unconscious. Heyward-Bey hit the turf face first. He was down for more than 10 minutes as medical personnel tended to him. His head and neck were immobilized before he was placed on a body board, carted off the field and taken to the hospital.
