The Facts:
Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub lost a piece of his left year after taking a vicious hit from Denver Broncos linebacker Joe Mays that knocked Schaub's helmet off early in the third quarter. Schaub sat out one play to get the bleeding until control, and returned on the same possession when doctors didn't observe any concussion symptoms. After the game, Schaub had X-rays on his left shoulder as a precaution. He checked out fine.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Schaub showed his mettle on Sunday in a tough, physical game in which he threw for 290 yards and completed touchdown passes to Andre Johnson, Arian Foster, Kevin Walter and Owen Daniels. It was his first four touchdown performance since Week 6 of the 2009 season. Schaub's performance reminded fantasy owners that he has the ability to put up QB1 numbers the game plan requires the Texans to put more emphasis on the passing game. Houston will host the Tennessee Titans at home in Week 4. Fantasy owners should consider Schaub a viable starter in what looks to be a favorable match-up.
