The Facts:
Denver Broncos tight end Jacob Tamme is dealing with a groin strain sustained in the team's 31-25 loss to the Texans. Tamme briefly exited the game in the fourth quarter but returned late in the quarter as the team attempted a comeback. In his Monday press briefing coach John Fox listed Tamme's status as day-to-day.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
It doesn't sound like the groin injury is a big deal, but we'll monitor Tamme's status and participation in practice this week. What should be a bigger concern for Tamme's fantasy owners is his lack of production over the first three weeks of the season. He's caught 10 passes for 87 yards and one score-hardly the numbers you'd expect from TE1 as he was drafted in many leagues this summer. Though Peyton Manning targeted him nine times on Sunday, Tamme caught just three balls for 31 yards. Fantasy owners—especially those in standard formats—may want to check the waiver wire for other options.
