The Facts:
Following up on a
previous item, Broncos coach John Fox confirmed running back Willis McGahee sustained a rib injury that involved "cartilage" in the third quarter of Sunday's game with the Texans. Fox said McGahee's status is "day-to-day" but shed no light on his availability for Week 4.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Looking ahead to Week 4, McGahee has a favorable match-up against the Oakland Raiders. Oakland has given up four rushing touchdowns and 116.3 yards per game average to running backs. When the two teams met in November 2011, McGahee racked up 163 yards on 20 carries and two touchdowns. McGahee was seen on the sideline in uniform after he left Sunday's game, so it doesn't appear his injury is too serious. We'll know more about his condition when the team practices later in the week.
