The Facts:
First there was this tweet from @AhmadBradshaw "Great news! Thanks everyone for ur thoughts and prayers. But u dnt understand, I'm Ready to rock #bigblue #health." Bradshaw's news about his status was followed by confirmation from a source close to the Giants that doctors cleared the running back to return to practice this week. Bradshaw sprained his neck early in the team's Week 2 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was ruled out of last Thursday's game with the Carolina Panthers.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
While we're happy that Bradshaw is on the mend, the New York Giants backfield situations just became significantly murkier for fantasy owners heading into Week 4. It's too much to expect Tom Coughlin to tell us his plan for splitting the workload between Bradshaw and Andre Brown, so it has the makings of a backfield situation that you may want to avoid, but probably can't. Coughlin's only comment on the matter was “there’s a place for everybody.”
We won't really know whether a return in Week 4 is truly in the cards for Bradshaw until he returns to practice without a setback. Even if he is active for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, it's possible the team could limit his touches to minimize the possibility re-injury. Whatever happens with Bradshaw, it would be foolish for the Giants to keep Brown on the bench after his jaw-dropping Week 3 performance filling in for Bradshaw. It will be a roll of the dice to start either one of these guys, but fantasy owners may need to suck it up and do just that.
