According to the Giants official website, wide receiver Hakeem Nicks expects to play in Week 4 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Concern over Nicks' surgically-repaired foot and the short week led the team to hold him out of last Thursday's blowout win over the Carolina Panthers. I don’t think it was a setback,” Nicks said of how his foot reacted after the Buccaneers game. “I think it was more of a cautious situation where it was just too quick of a turnaround on the foot, all that pounding on the foot that I did that last game. “I think if it was a regular Sunday and it was a normal week, I would’ve been able to go out there and compete.”

Don't be too concerned if you hear that Nicks sits out a couple of practices each week. Tom Coughlin said he plans to limit Nicks to once a week practice for the foreseeable future(likely Thursday), to avoid unnecessary stress on the foot. It goes without saying that if Nicks is active Sunday vs. Philly, he belongs in your fantasy lineup.
