The Facts:
Free-agent running back Ryan Grant worked out for the Chicago Bears Tuesday, and reportedly weighed multiple offers from several teams, ultimately agreeing to a one-year deal with the Washington Redskins. Rookie Alfred Morris was the only healthy back on the roster after last Sunday's game with the Bengals. Roy Helu aggravated a pre-existing case of turf toe and Evan Royster sustained a strained patella tendon in his right knee. Grant spent five seasons with the Green Bay Packers. He tweeted Tuesday night that he's looking forward to helping the Redskins win.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Grant will provide depth beyond Morris with both Helu and Royster banged up, and he could spell Morris from time to time. Unless you're in a very deep league (16-teams plus), we recommend fantasy owners take a wait and see approach to Grant and leave him on waivers.
