The Facts:
The Dolphins may part ways with Frerotte if a restructured contract can't be agreed upon. That was the sentiment Tuesday from agent Marvin Demoff, who represents the QB. "We've had discussions with Gus, but not much has been resolved," Demoff said.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
It's believed the Dolphins want Frerotte to accept a significant pay cut from his current $4.3 million. The extra cap space would allow them to pursue another QB. The team is expected to show strong interest should Drew Brees not re-sign with San Diego. The Dolphins don't appear to have nearly as strong an attraction to Daunte Culpepper. If Frerotte remains, the team could go after Arizona's Josh McCown, who would compete for the starting job.
