The Facts:
Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Jay Cutler early in the fourth quarter and was tackled to the turf by Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Rashean Mathis. He immediately left the game and did not return. Jeffery wore a wrap on his swollen hand when he spoke to reporters after the game and downplayed the injury. "I could have kept playing," he said. "I'm confident it's not serious." A source close to the team reports tests taken immediately afterward came back negative for fracture. Jeffery will undergo further tests on Monday.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jeffery will get to rest his injured hand during the team's upcoming Week 6 bye. Assuming the injury isn't too serious, he has a shot at returning in time to face the Detroit Lions on October 22. Jeffery excels at gaining separation from defenders and the Bears aren't afraid to take down-field shots aimed at him. He has legitimate potential this week.Check back for an up-date on Jeffery.
