The Facts:
Following up on a
previous item, the Cincinnati Bengals have placed running back Bernard Scott on season-ending injured reserve with a knee injury. The fourth-year back injured his knee in the first quarter of Sunday's 17-13 loss to Miami. He was spotted leaving the stadium on crutches and overheard telling his teammates the club feared his tore his ACL. Scott will be a free agent in 2013.

With Scott lost for the season, the Bengals could look to sign someone from a very shallow free-agent pool, or more likely, use the tandem of Brian Leonard and Cedric Peerman to back up BenJarvus Green-Ellis. At this point, neither Leonard nor Peerman merit a spot on your fantasy roster.
