The Facts:
Lions president Matt Millen said Tuesday that he plans to keep Harrington on the team, despite looming contract issues. Millen also said that he believes Harrington will again be Detroit's No. 1 quarterback, but made it clear the final decision is up to new head coach Rod Marinelli. "We do like him and I do think he'll be our guy and that's how we're going to approach it," Millen said.

Marinelli also appeared to be leaning toward keeping Harrington as the No. 1 QB, but fell short of making it official. ... For the record, Harrington is already under contract but has a $4 million roster bonus due on June 15. Millen indicated that if Harrington doesn't restructure his contract to make it more salary cap friendly, the team is prepared to pick up the bonus.
