The Facts:
Washington Redskins will sign former UCLA place kicker Kai Forbath today to replace the struggling Billy Cundiff. The team lost confidence in Cundiff after a string of missed field goals in recent weeks. Forbath signed with the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2011 and spent his rookie season on reserve/non-football injury list before being waived in April. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers brought him in to kick during the preseason. He went 5-for-5 in field goal attempts, including 51- and 55-yarders.
