The Facts:
Kansas City Chiefs running back Peyton Hillis continues to deal with a high-ankle sprain according to head coach Romeo Crennel. "High ankles are always tough," Crennel said of Hillis. He's making progress. We're going to push him a little bit more this week and see how much he can do. Then, after we push him, we'll be able to tell if he can come back this week or not." Hillis hasn't played a down since Week 3, and he will likely miss Kansas City's Week 6 matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Recovery from a high-ankle sprain can take four to six weeks depending on the severity. The Chiefs have a Week 7 bye and there is a good chance that Hillis won't return until Week 8 at the earliest.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jamaal Charles will continue to receive a heavy workload with Hillis out of commission. The Chiefs will spell Charles with Shaun Draughn and Cyrus Gray. Matt Cassel is expected to miss Week 6 with a concussion and the Chiefs are said to be game planning an especially run-heavy offense to take pressure off backup Brady Quinn. While neither Draughn nor Gray should be on your fantasy radar, Hillis' absence gives Draughn some value He had 12 carries for 40 yards in Week 5. The YPC average isn't great but 12 carries is fairly significant. If you are desperate for some help in Week 6 and your waiver wire is picked clean, Draughn might be an option.
