The Facts:
M Live's Anwar Richardson reports Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew has an undisclosed injury. Pettigrew missed the Lions' bye-week practice last Wednesday and did not participate in the part of Tuesday's practice that is open to the media. The Lions are not required to release an official injury report until Wednesday.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
We'll know soon enough whether Pettigrew's "undisclosed injury" is "much ado about nothing" or a legitimate cause for concern. While fact-checking this story we came across multiple reports in the Twitter-verse stating that Pettigrew recently underwent knee surgery. However those reporting the story clearly misread Richardson's M Live article. Tackle Corey Williams had the knee surgery and wasn't practicing, no mention that Pettigrew had surgery. Check back on Wednesday for an update on Pettigrew's injury and his status heading into Detroit's Week 6 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
