Update: Jets' Powell has a dislocated shoulder; MRI set for Monday
(10/14 8:57 PT)

The Facts:
Following up on a previous item, the New York Jets confirm running back Bilal Powell dislocated his shoulder. He will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of damage. Early indications are that Powell will miss Week 7's matchup with AFC East rival New England Patriots.  Reported by Allie Fontana on Twitter

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Powell's mission (or fantasy owners' wishful thinking) to carve out additional playing time or overtake Shonn Greene on the Jets' depth chart hit an ill-timed speed bump with his shoulder injury. We'll know more about how much time he is expected to miss after the MRI results come in. Teammate and fellow running back Joe McKnight also went down with an ankle injury, which leaves Jonathan Grimes as the only healthy back on the active roster behind Shonn Greene. Grimes was signed off the Houston Texans practice squad in late September.
