The Facts:
Following up on a
previous item, the Dallas Cowboys confirmed the X-rays on running back DeMarco Murray's sprained left foot came back negative. He will undergo an MRI on Monday. Murray wore dress shoes, not a walking boot in the locker room, and said he could have returned to the game. “I was trying to [get back in],”Murray said. “That was their decision to pull me out. It’s a long season. It’s only the fifth game, so I have to do what’s best for the team.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
It's hard not to think "Lisfranc" when we hear a player has a foot sprain, however we'll hold off pressing the panic button on Murray's condition until his MRI results are in. We won't know whether Murray will be healthy enough for Week 7, so fantasy owners may want to use a waiver claim on backup Felix Jones. He rushed for 92 yards on 18 carries and a touchdown, though he battled dehydration that resulted in cramping throughout the game. Check back for updates on Murray's condition as more details come in.
