But the Morning News suggests the news the Cowboys received Monday is encouraging. The MRI revealed that Murray did suffer ligament damage in the first half of the team’s loss at Baltimore. But no bones are broken, and the Cowboys don’t believe there will be a prolonged absence. In fact, it appears his status could be treated as day-to-day very soon. Murray leads the team in rushing with 330 yards and one touchdown. He picked up 93 yards against the Ravens before being forced to sit out all but one play in the second half. Felix Jones is waiting in the wings this week.
