The Facts:
Following up on a
previous item, MRI results confirm that Baltimore Ravens cornerback Lardarius Webb sustained a torn ACL in Sunday's victory over the Dallas Cowboys. The injury occurred when Webb collided with Dallas wide receiver Dez Bryant in the first quarter. Webb will miss the remainder of the 2012 season. He tore his right ACL as a rookie.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
From a fantasy standpoint, it had already become far less of a concern rolling with a running back facing the Ravens defense. Now with the loss of Webb, fantasy owners should feel more confident starting their receivers too. Also looks like Baltimore will need to rely more heavily on its offense to win this season, which should be (relatively) good news for owners of key Ravens skill position players.
