The Facts:
Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson broke his right leg while he was tackled after making a 16-yard catch in Thursday's 13-7 loss to the Chicago Bears. Head coach Jim Schwartz said Burleson will miss the rest of the 2012 season. Burleson finished with 27 receptions for 240 yards and a touchdown through six games this season.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Losing the 10-year veteran is a big loss for the struggling Lions. Burleson is widely acknowledged to be one of the team leaders in the locker room and on the field. We expect rookie Ryan Broyles to replace Burleson in three receiver sets with Calvin Johnson and Titus Young. Broyles recorded his first NFL career touchdown late in the fourth quarter, spoiling the Bears hopes for a shutout. He finished with three catches for 51 yards and the score. It's also possible the Lions will sign a free agent or activate someone from the practice squad to add depth to the receiving corps.
