The Facts:
Following up on a
previous item, MRI results revealed Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert tore the labrum on his non-throwing shoulder. Gabbert and the Jaguars have sought a second opinion from noted sports surgeon Dr. Robert Anderson. Jacksonville has not yet ruled out Gabbert for Week 8 against the Green Bay Packers.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Surgery is one of the options on the table for Gabbert, however the Jaguars would rather not lose the second-year quarterback for the season. Despite his struggles and the team's 1-5 start, Chad Henne is not a better quarterback than Gabbert at this point. We'll keep you posted on Gabbert's status for Week 8, as well as how the injury may impact the rest of his season.
