The Facts:
New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker sustained an ankle injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's blowout win over the St. Louis Rams. Welker told reporters that he rolled his left ankle when "it just kind of got stuck in the turf” when he was tackled by Rams safety Quintin Mikell after making a five-yard catch. He finished the day with six catches for 48 yards.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Welker will have the ankle evaluated on Monday to determine the nature/severity of the injury. Fortunately the Patriots have a bye in Week 9, so he'll have an extra week to get healthy. We'll keep you posted on Welker's diagnosis and recovery timeline.
