The Facts:
Following up on a
previous item, Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin in noncommittal about quarterback Ryan Tannehill's status for Week 9 against the Indianapolis Colts. The Dolphins are waiting for the results of an MRI Tannehill had Monday. Tannehill injured his left knee and quadriceps muscle on a sack by Calvin Pace on the Dolphins’ second possession. Backup Matt Moore stepped in for the rookie, completing 11-of-19 passes for 131 yards and a touchdown. Philbin said the team would evaluate Tannehill's condition later in week.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Hard to imagine that Tannehill will be 100 percent if he starts versus the Colts on Sunday. We expect the Dolphins offense will focus on exploiting Indy's soft run defense with Reggie Bush and backup Daniel Thomas and avoiding mistakes. The same approach would apply if Matt Moore is under center—emphasize the ground game to keep pressure off the quarterback. Check back for updates on Tannehill's availability for Week 9.
