The Facts:
The NFL announced it has changed the trade deadline from Tuesday, October 30 at 4:00 p.m. ET to Thursday, November 1, at 4:00 p.m. ET. A number of teams on the East Coast shut down operations on Monday as did the NFL office. Depending on the severity of Hurricane Sandy, these offices could remain closed on Tuesday, making it difficult to complete the required paperwork on any potential deals.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
While trade rumors involving DeAngelo Williams, Steven Jackson, Colt McCoy, Matt Moore and LeGarrette Blount have surfaced in the past week, the NFL trade deadline has been historically less active than other major sports. Carson Palmer was the most notable player involved in a trade prior to last year's deadline. After an injury to starter Jason Campbell, Oakland paid a king's ransom in draft picks to the Cincinnati Bengals for the then disgruntled Palmer to get off his sofa and join the Raiders.
