The Facts:
Oakland Raiders running back Mike Goodson suffered a turf toe injury in Sunday's 26-16 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. While severe cases of turf toe can sideline players for multiple weeks or longer, Raiders head coach Dennis Allen said he is hopeful that Goodson will be healthy enough to play Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Goodson's status for Week 9 will be determined later in the week.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
If you invested in Darren McFadden, there is a good chance that you're covering your prized fantasy asset with his handcuff, Mike Goodson. Early reports indicate that Goodson's turf toe isn't particularly limiting, however we'll get a better idea of the severity when the Raiders practice on Wednesday. If turf toe keeps Goodson out of action Sunday, then second-year back Taiwan Jones and fullback Marcel Reese would be called on to back up DMC in a Week 9 contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
