Jaguars reportedly 'making a play' to bring Tim Tebow to Jacksonville
(10/31 1:40 PT)

The Facts:
The latest NFL trade rumor to surface in advance of Thursday's 4:00 p.m. ET deadline involves the Jaguars 'making a play' to bring New York Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow to Jacksonville. By most accounts, Tebow has been a high-priced, underused decoy on the 3-5 Jets. He completed 2-of-3 pass attempts for 32 yards rushed 23 times for 78 yards. Jaguars owner Shad Khan made a late play for Tebow when the Denver Broncos were in the final stages of negotiating a deal to send the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner to New York in March. Khan is on the record as saying that he would have "100 percent" drafted Tebow had he been the owner two years ago. Jacksonville reportedly offered Denver more for Tebow than the Jets had, however John Elway allowed Tebow to decide between the Jets and the Jaguars. The New York Daily News and ESPN New York have reported the Jets have no plans to trade Tebow. Stay tuned.  Reported by ActionNewsJax.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jets head coach Rex Ryan indicated the team would look for creative ways to involve Tebow more in the offense after their Week 10 bye. Rumors persist that Tebow is unhappy with his role through eight games and is lobbying for more work. Tebow has been unusable for fantasy in the first half of the season. If a change of scenery would lead to more playing time for the third-year signal caller, the majority of owners would welcome the move. Check back later in the week for the latest news and rumors related to Tebow and any potential deal.
