The Facts:
ESPN's John Clayton reported that Indianapolis Colts running back Donald Brown suffered a hip injury early in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Miami Dolphins. That report was refuted by Colts interim head coach Bruce Arians and Brown himself. Brown said he experience swelling and soreness in his knee, however he could have gone back in if the team needed him. In his Monday press conference, Arians confirmed it was a knee issue that kept Brown off the field. The fourth-year running back is day-to-day heading into Week 10. Indy takes on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
We expected Brown would be limited against the Dolphins, however we admit to being surprised that he played just four percent of Indy's offensive snaps compared to Vick Ballard's 68 percent and Delone Carter's 19 percent. Now we know why. The short week could keep Brown out of action Thursday night, which would make Vick Ballard a low-end RB2 or flex option option versus Jacksonville. Check back for updates on Brown's availability.
