The Facts:
Following up on a
previous item, an MRI confirmed the Oakland Raiders running back Mike Goodson sustained a high-ankle sprain in Sunday's loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While Goodson hasn't been ruled out for Week 10, it is unlikely that he'll be on the field Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Darren McFadden's fantasy owners just can't catch a break. Not only is he dealing with a high-ankle sprain of his own, his clear-cut backup Goodson goes down at the same time. Oakland hasn't been too forthcoming about how severe Goodson's high-ankle sprain is, so we could be looking at an absence of anywhere between two to six weeks. We'll keep you posted on Goodson's condition as more information becomes available. In the short term, fullback Marcel Reece looks to be the emergency pickup for owners in PPR formats. Though he didn't post a carry after McFadden and Goodson went down, the former college wideout caught eight passes for 95 yards and a score. Taiwan Jones is worth a look as a speculative add in deeper formats if both McFadden and Goodson are ruled out, however that doesn't mean he belongs in your lineup. While he's capable of a big run here and here, he has struggled with injuries and his limited experience and pass-pro issues make him a less-than ideal fantasy option.
