The Facts:
Brady Quinn has yet to be cleared medically and won’t play in the Chiefs game on Monday night against the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Cassel will start instead.
Reported by the Kansas City Star
Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Quinn, after replacing Cassel as the starter, suffered a concussion in the Oct. 28 game against Oakland and did not play in last week’s loss to San Diego. “He has not been cleared for contact and he’s been advised not to play Monday night,” coach Romeo Crennel said. “We’re going to error on the side of caution and protect the football player.” Crennel said he hasn’t considered starting Ricky Stanzi instead of Cassel.
