Bills' Fred Jackson suffers a late game head injury in loss to Patriots
(11/11 6:20 PT)

The Facts:
Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson suffered an apparent head injury late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 37-31 loss to the New England Patriots. Jackson fumbled the ball after a forearm to helmet hit by Pats linebacker Brandon Spikes that jarred the ball loose. The Bills recovered, and Jackson had to be helped off the field. After the game, head coach Chan Gailey said "I don't know if they’re calling it a concussion. I don't know what the word is. I don't know if it's a concussion or not. They didn't tell me."  Reported by BuffaloBills.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jackson had his clock cleaned by Spikes, and while Gailey may not know what the injury is, you can be sure that Jackson will under concussion protocol before he can return to practice. The veteran back delivered big time for fantasy owners, carrying the ball for 80 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries. He also added another 35 yards through the air. On the downside, he fumbled twice, losing one of them. The Bills take on the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night, which casts doubt on Jackson's availability for Week 11 if he is diagnosed with a concussion. Backfield teammate C.J. Spiller would likely see additional touches if Jackson is forced to sit out.
