Peyton Manning tosses TD No. 420 to tie Dan Marino for second on NFL's all-time list
(11/12 1:35 PT)

The Facts:
While his run of three touchdown games came to an end at five; Peyton Manning connected with good friend Brandon Stokely on a 10-yard pass for a score in the first quarter of Sunday's 36-14 win over the Carolina Panthers. The touchdown was the 15-year veteran's 420th of his career. He is currently tied with Hall of Fame and former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino on the NFL's all-time list. IT won't be too long before Manning moves into the No. 2 spot on his own and then he can set his sights on Brett Favre, who holds the record with 508 career touchdowns.  Reported by Allie Fontana on Twitter

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Fantasy owners have been spoiled by Manning's streak of multiple touchdown and 20-plus fantasy points per game performances. In fact, his last one score game was back in Week 2, when Denver fell to the Atlanta Falcons 27-21. While his 301-yard, one touchdown and lost fumble was pedestrian for Manning, it was not completely unexpected. The Panthers have held opposing quarterbacks to one or fewer passing touchdown passes in eight of nine games this season. Only the Falcons' Matt Ryan burned them for three passing scores. Manning can begin his quest to eclipse Favre's record in earnest when the Broncos host the San Diego Chargers in Week 11. The teams met in Week 6 for an unforgettable Monday Night Football game in which San Diego blew a 24-0 lead at halftime. Manning tossed three second-half touchdowns en route to a 35-24 comeback win.
