The Facts:
Head coach Mike Mularkey announced Monday that running back Maurice Jones-Drew will not play in the team's upcoming AFC South division matchup with the Houston Texans. Rashad Jennings will continue to start in MJD's place, with special teamer/RB Jalen Parmalee spelling him and serving as change-of-pace option.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jones-Drew hasn't started running yet, and as the weeks go by, we remain skeptical about how much fantasy value his owners will derive from their investment. Hang on to him if you're a playoff contender and you have the roster space or see if you can move him before your league's trade deadline. Backup Rashad Jennings continues to be a huge disappointment for fantasy owners that handcuffed him to MJD or used a waiver claim to pick him up. For the most part, Jennings failed to deliver in a string of favorable fantasy matchups, including Week 10 against the Indianapolis Colts. Hard to get excited about using him as anything more than a desperation flex against the Houston Texans this week.
