The Facts:
New York Giants running back Andre Brown suffered a leg injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday night's 38-10 win over the Green Bay Packers. Head coach Tom Coughlin said after the game that Brown had a broken fibula. Prior to the injury, Brown rushed for 64 yards on 13 carries and also scored a touchdown—his fifth in five straight games.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The tandem of Brown (64) and Bradshaw (58)combined for 122 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the Giants victory over Green Bay. Filling in for an injured Bradshaw, Brown surprised many with a breakout game in Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers, rushing 20 times for 113 yards and two scores. He suffered a concussion on a first quarter kickoff return in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns and sat out Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers. He kicked off a five-game touchdown streak in a Week 7 matchup with the Washington Redskins. His ability to get into the end zone from close range earned him the dreaded (or welcome) title of touchdown "vulture" and a reliable flex start in standard scoring leagues. Brown's season totals include 73 rushes for 385 yards (5.4 YPC) and a team-high eight rushing touchdowns. He also had 12 catches for 86 yards. While Bradshaw's fantasy owners won't be disappointed that he'll be asked to shoulder more of the rushing workload and goal-line work now that Brown's season is over, they also lost a valuable handcuff to their injury-prone starter. Rookie David Wilson will be asked to step up in some capacity, but don't expect him to take over Brown's role in short-yardage/goal-line situations. He's better suited between the 20s, and his ability to pass protect will dictate how much playing time he gets. It's possible the G-Men add a veteran running back for depth at some point.
