The Facts:
The San Franciso 49ers fear that wide receiver Kyle Williams' season could be over after he injured his knee in the third quarter of Sunday's 31-21 road win against the Saints in New Orleans. Williams was immediately ruled out from returning to the game. While head coach Jim Harbaugh declined to comment about the severity of Williams' injury after the game, multiple sources report the speedster tore his ACL. Williams was hurt making a run block for second-year back Kendall Hunter in the third quarter. He is scheduled to have an MRI on Monday.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Williams didn't record a catch in Week 12, but he has 14 receptions for 212 yards and a touchdown on the year. He also splits time with Tedd Ginn, Jr. returning kicks and punts. While there's a better than good chance that Williams isn't rostered on too many fantasy teams, his absence could mean more opportunities for veteran wide receiver Randy Moss to stretch the field. It's also possible that we'll get our first look at rookie WR A.J. Jenkins. likely that rookie wideout A.J. Jenkins, who has yet to see the field all season. Neither is worth considering for fantasy purposes, so use your Week 13 waiver claim wisely.
