The Facts:
The San Francisco 49ers placed wide receiver/return specialist Kyle Williams on injured reserve (IR) with a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) on Tuesday. Williams was injured in the third quarter of the 49ers win over the New Orleans Saints. He caught 14 passes for 212 yards and a touchdown this season.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
With Williams out of action for the rest of the season, Mario Manningham and Randy Moss may be asked to step up. Manningham showed some chemistry with Colin Kaepernick in Week 12, catching all five of his targets for 69 yards. He may be worth a look in deeper league with slim pickings on the waiver wire. Rookie A.J. Jenkins could also be active in Week 13 for the first time all season.
