The Facts:
The Chicago Bears are optimistic that running back Matt Forte will be healthy enough to play Week 13 against the Seattle Seahawks. Tests confirmed that Forte re-sprained his right ankle in the third quarter of Sunday's 28-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings. The team said his injury was not as serious as the original sprain that occurred in Week 2. Michael Bush would be in line for a heavier workload if Forte was forced to sit out this week. He carries the ball 20 times for 60 yards and two touchdowns in Week 12 versus the Vikings.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The good news for Forte’s fantasy owners is the injury looks to be a simple ankle sprain. How well he responds to treatment early in the week along with his ability to practice by Friday (and can he make cuts on the injured ankle) will determine whether he suits up this week. Check back for updates on Forte's status as information becomes available. In the meantime, if you haven't already done so, Forte owners should grab Michael Bush if he's available on the waiver wire. Bush could also be a decent spot start for owners dealing with injury issues at the position aside from Forte. The 49ers, Vikings, and Dolphins have run roughshod over Seattle's run defense so the potential is there for either Forte or Bush, or both backs to have a solid fantasy day.
