Jaguars RB Rashad Jennings makes early exit with a concussion
(12/2 4:37 PT)

The Facts:
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Rashard Jennings sustained a concussion early in the second quarter of Sunday's Week 13 game against the Buffalo Bills. Jennings carried the ball eight times for 20 yards prior to the head injury. With Maurice Jones-Drew ruled out, Jalen Parmele on injured reserve, and recent signee Jordan Todman inactive, the Jaguars were forced to turn to fullback Montell Owens.  Reported by Allie Fontana on Twitter

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jennings has done little to take advantage of additional playing with Jones-Drew sidelined, yet with Parmele out for the season, the Jags had little choice but to roll with him. Many fantasy owners felt similarly when they put Jennings in their Week 13 lineups and hoped for the best. While he didn't leave fantasy owners with a goose egg, he didn't play particularly well before the hit. Jennings fumbled twice, both recovered by Jacksonville. The concussed Jennings will undergo the standard battery of evaluations and tests before he can return to action. We can't imagine the Jags will be in a hurry to get Jennings back on the field, even in a potentially decent matchup against the Jets in Week 14. Unless Jones-Drew returns in Week 14, fantasy owners should look elsewhere for running back options. Jacksonville would if only they could.
