The Facts:
New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman limped off the field in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 23-16 win over the Miami Dolphins. While the Patriots listed Edelman as questionable with a foot injury, he did not return. Edelman was held to just one catch for 13 yards before his exit. He was seen in a walking boot and on crutches after the game.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Edelman has been dinged up all season--in fact, he was questionable heading into Week 13 after he sustained a head injury during New England's Thanksgiving Day win over the Jets. After he scored two touchdowns—one vs. Indianapolis Colts in Week 11 and one vs. New York Jets Indianapolis in Week 12—some fantasy owners took a flier on him heading into the fantasy playoffs. We'll have to wait until Monday at the earliest to find out the nature and severity of Edelman's latest injury. If we were betting people, the walking boot and crutches make his chances of playing in Week 14 pretty slim. Check back for an update on his status. In the meantime, take a look at your waiver wire for potential players to take his roster spot.
