Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
LaFell was one of several wide receivers who did little or nothing to help owners during a make or break fantasy week. While he hadn't been a reliable fantasy option for most of the season, LaFell had found the end zone twice in consecutive weeks and posted double-digit fantasy production. Heading into Sunday's game, he was a solid WR3 or flex start against an improving, yet still vulnerable Chiefs defense. Cam Newton looked for LaFell near the end zone multiple times, including a potential 52-yard touchdown he couldn't hang on to in the second half. Louis Murphy and Armanti Edwards could see additional targets if LaFell misses time, but neither are recommended options for playoff-bound fantasy owners.
