Update: Lions WR Ryan Broyles done for the season with torn ACL in right knee
(12/3 3:50 PT)

The Facts:
MRI results confirm the Detroit Lions fears—promising wide receiver Ryan Broyles tore the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee in the first quarter of Sunday's loss to the Colts. He will undergo reconstructive knee surgery later this month. While Broyles tore the ACL in his left knee last November as a senior at Oklahoma, the Lions selected him in the second-round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Broyles made his NFL debut in Week 7, catching three balls for 51 yards and a touchdown. He finished the season with 22 receptions for 310 yards and two scores.  Reported by Allie Fontana on Twitter

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
After losing both Broyles and Nate Burleson to season-ending injuries, the Lions find themselves really thin at wide receiver. Calvin Johnson, Mike Thomas and Brian Robiskie are the only healthy options on the roster. Jim Schwartz said the team is likely to make a roster move to bolster depth at the position, but also said that once-again exiled Titus Young won't be part of the solution. Thomas is expected to move into Broyles' spot opposite Megatron, but we don't recommend using him for fantasy purposes unless/until he can be trusted to contribute.
