Vikings RB Adrian Peterson posts seventh consecutive 100-yard game in win over the Bears
(12/9 7:37 PT)

The Facts:
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson rushed for 154 yards and two touchdown on 31 carries in Sunday's 21-14 win over the Chicago Bears. It was Peterson's seventh consecutive 100-yard game. Peterson and safety Harrison Smith's 56-yard touchdown run off a Jay Cutler pick overcame another ho-hum performance by quarterback Christian Ponder. The 7-6 Vikings take on the St. Louis Rams in Week 15. Reported by Allie Fontana on Twitter

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
If you bit on Peterson in your fantasy drafts this summer, congratulations! His return from a torn ACL, MCL and meniscus is nothing short of phenomenal. Peterson's 154 rushing yards brings his to-date season total to 1,600 yards. He's on pace to finish with close to 2,000 rushing yards. Not only did his big day help keep the Vikings' playoff hopes alive, he also joined LaDainian Tomlinson as the only running backs in NFL history to post 10-plus touchdowns in each of their first six seasons. Peterson also moved into third in franchise history with 77 touchdowns, trailing Cris Carter (110) and Randy Moss (93).
