The Facts:
The Pittsburgh Steelers announced that running back Rashard Mendenhall has been reinstated to the 53-man active roster after serving a one-week suspension for conduct detrimental to the team. Mendenhall was a no-show at Heinz Field for Pittsburgh's Week 14 game against the San Diego Chargers after being told he'd be a healthy inactive for the second straight week. Head coach Mike Tomlin said Jonathan Dwyer would remain the starter in Week 16 against the Cincinnati Bengals, but that he'd look to find a role for Mendenhall.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Mendenhall shouldn't be anywhere near your starting lineup in Week 16. In fact, with Isaac Redman and Chris Rainey also in the mix behind Dwyer, it's hard to get excited about any Steelers running back. Dwyer managed just 22 yards on nine carries (2.4 YPC)in the Week 15 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, but salvaged his fantasy output with a touchdown. Consider him a flex option at best against the Bengals this Sunday. As for Mendenhall, his future with the Steelers is very murky. He will be an unrestricted free agent in 2013, while Dwyer and Redman will be restricted free agents.
