Steelers TE Heath Miller leaves Week 16 contest with a knee injury
(12/23 4:46 PT)

The Facts:
Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Heath Miller sustained a knee injury late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's Week 16 loss to AFC North rival Cincinnati Bengals. He required help off the field and could not put weight on his right leg. Miller caught three balls for 45 yards on nine targets. Miller's projection is a bit cautious this week because the Bengals have not allowed a tight end to score a touchdown for six straight games. However, Miller is still a must-start as the third-highest-scoring tight end in fantasy football. Plus, he has posted three of his four best yardage outputs in the past three games. Reported by Allie Fontana on Twitter

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Miller was one of the 2012 season's pleasant surprises, and certainly the Steelers' most reliable fantasy starter. The Bengals hadn't allowed a tight end to score in six straight games, but it was hard to sit Miller given his consistency this year. Mike Wallace told reporters after the game that another teammate told him Miller had torn his ACL, however that has not yet been confirmed. We'll keep you posted on the severity of Miller's injury when the team provides an update. Pittsburgh was eliminated from playoff contention today and it also looks like Miller's season ended a week early. The eight-year veteran posted 71 receptions for 816 yards and a career-high eight touchdowns.
