Following up on a
previous item, Oakland Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer has been ruled out for the 2012 season finale after suffering four broken ribs and a bruised lung in Week 16. Palmer's injuries were serious enough to require an overnight stay in a Charlotte hospital.

If your fantasy league continues into Week 17, a winning formula will not include any part of the Oakland Raiders passing game. Matt Leinart will get the start, however we saw Terrelle Pryor take snaps last Sunday and that could happen again this coming week against the San Diego Chargers. Palmer is due $13 million next season and while he is expected to return, he's clearly not the long-term solution under center.
