The quarterback position has been an ongoing issue for the Cardinals since Kurt Warner retired. Whisenhunt's failure to identify and/or develop a replacement was clearly a major factor in his downfall. According to CBSSports.com's Jason La Canfora, scouts have pointed to the scheme, especially in terms of protections, as part of the problem, while the lack of an offensive line has hurt, too.
