Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The 49ers have three options, Harbaugh said. The team could keep Akers, sign a new kicker to take Akers' job or have two kickers on the 53-man roster. "If we had two on the roster at the same time, they can kick in practice," Harbaugh said. "We'll make that decision as we go. ..." According to CSNBayArea.com's Matt Maiocco, Billy Cundiff, whom the 49ers brought in for a tryout several weeks ago, Neil Rackers and John Kasay are among the veteran kickers available. Akers' problems continued Sunday with two missed field goals in a 27-13 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
