Randall Cobb Saysw He'll Be 100 Percent For Playoff Opener
(12/31 4:36 PT)

The Facts:
Asked whether he was confident he would play against the Vikings in the playoff opener next week, Cobb said, "100 percent." Reported by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Cobb, the team's leading receiver as well as punt and kickoff returner, was held out of the game because of an ankle he sprained last week against Tennessee. On Friday, Cobb had practiced on a limited basis, but it wasn't enough to prove to the medical staff that it was worth the risk playing him against the Vikings. "It was close," Cobb said after the Packers' 37-34 loss at the Metrodome. "It was 50-50." Cobb said the decision was made between him and the medical staff and that he thought it was the right one. The Packers were able to fill Cobb's void both on offense and special teams. Receiver Greg Jennings stepped back into his go-to role and caught eight passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns. He played a good portion of his snaps in the slot where Cobb has been playing most of the season. On special teams, Jeremy Ross was terrific and may have made a case for taking Cobb off those units to save wear and tear.
