The Facts:
Art Shell and new OC Tom Walsh have about four days to decide whether Collins is their starting quarterback for 2006. By Wednesday, you can expect the Raiders to start cutting some players.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Collins is due $8.5 million in salary and bonuses in 2006 and has a cap value of $12.6 million -- more than the cap-strapped Raiders can afford. If Collins gets the expected hook, the Raiders probably will be on the lookout for a "transitional" quarterback -- Daunte Culpepper, Steve McNair or somebody comparable (if available) -- to run the show until second-year quarterback Andrew Walter is ready to handle the load.
